PubCon 2023 Highlights & Learnings

Four of our Data Drive Marketing team members had the opportunity to attend the 2023 PubCon Conference in Austin, TX. Our team gained a lot of insight and brought back tips and tricks to share with the rest of the team. Here we are focusing on the top 4 highlights and learnings from our time at PubCon 2023. 

1. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the Future!

Artificial intelligence (AI) is a hot topic that’s changing the way businesses operate. Here at Data Drive, we are embracing this trend and learning how to implement AI into the work we do for our clients. This cutting-edge AI technology learns from conversations allowing it to better tailor responses to your preferences and audience over time. But don’t worry our team still provides factual information with a personal, human touch. 2. Tips & Tricks

We gained a lot of knowledge that will allow us to provide more insight to our clients and help grow their businesses, particularly online. One area we focused on is search engine optimization (SEO). Updated SEO trends include optimizing the topic relevance to a site, focusing on the target audience, and creating content that is useful to the consumer rather than just the search engine. In addition, we learned how a business’ Google Business Profile can help with SEO which we will discuss more later. Our team is now better equipped to assist your business with its SEO needs to help your business rank higher in search results and get you in front of more audience members.

3. Updates & Advancements

We also learned about the latest advancements and upcoming updates from Google and Microsoft such as new improvements in search automation. As search engines become more automated, it’s important to stay up-to-date with the latest technology so that we can best serve our clients. At DDM we’re committed to learning and staying informed about the latest trends in our industry. Our team plans to tackle the necessary actions in response to the updates. Updates like these can impact SEO metrics such as rankings and search visibility so we are being proactive to ensure that our clients are not affected. 4. Google Business Profiles

At the conference we were able to learn more about the importance of Google Business Profiles. Google can use edits made to your Google Business Profile (GBP) to help increase your ranking. Updating your Google Business Profile allows Google to help people in your area find your business. Having an updated GBP also helps with local SEO and your CTR (click-through rate) by displaying links to your products, services, and recent content. A Google Business Profile also allows consumers to leave reviews which is another factor that helps to boost local SEO. With access to all the GBPs, we can do a lot for your business and help you rank higher in search results. We will work to optimize your Google Business Profile to increase SEO and your rank in different Google platform search results.
